While only one of the shows at last week’s Australian Fashion Week proved controversial enough to incite flag burning, many of the runway presentations offered eye-catching (and, as fashion weeks tend to do, head-scratching) looks. Over the five days of fashion, a mix of international labels, big Australian names, and emerging designers, including Josh Goot, Dion Lee, Camilla and Marc, and Lover showcased their spring collections. So that meant swimwear, as well as lots of bright colors and lace, some religious iconography, funky hair, and one big white snake. See some of the week’s best looks in our slideshow.
