Miuccia Prada’s younger line Miu Miu confirmed speculation that 14-year-old actress Hailee Steinfeld is the fall face of the label. She’s not that young for the role, if you think about it. Because while the casting completely eclipses all the crusty ladies in their twenties working in entertainment, Lindsey Wixson was 15 when she became the face of Miu Miu, with legs more dramatically proportioned than any rubber cartoon character’s. Also, Tavi was younger than Hailee when she started going to a bunch of big fashion shows — and that was great until, well, it wasn’t.
