One of the biggest events on the Cannes social calendar, amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS Gala took place last night in Antibes. The event raised over $10 million towards HIV research and included many tributes to Elizabeth Taylor’s work as an early champion of the cause. Karl Lagerfeld, Carine Roitfeld, Naomi Campbell, and Courtney Love were among the many fashionable guests; sartorial highlights included gowns by Chanel, Givenchy, Pucci, Cavalli, and lots of couture too.
