The spring collections were a little dull, clothes-wise. Remember? White dress, white dress, wide-leg pants, white dress, and oh! Another white dress. But stylists did have some fun with the hair, sending painted locks down the runway at Sportmax and Alexander Wang, mussed beehives at Vera Wang, lion’s manes at Naeem Khan, and basket-weave braids at Alexandre Herchcovitch and Alexander McQueen. The ladies of the Cut recently visited Bumble & Bumble’s downtown salon to learn how to achieve these four styles from a few of the hair company’s best runway stylists. Then we went on the streets to find out if the looks could fly in real life.
