The Duchess of Cambridge is clearly not a person who looks to the runways to dictate her wardrobe. Even her wedding dress, though designed by Alexander McQueen’s Sarah Burton, was much more Kate being Kate than McQueen being McQueen. But over the weekend Kate aired herself out publicly at the horse races with her husband and brother-in-law wearing all-white, one of spring’s most on-trend — and princess-appropriate — looks.
