Christian Lacroix — the designer who lost his label in the recession, not the label that forges ahead without him — has teamed up with Spanish brand Desigual on a heavily-patterned and embellished — veritably collaged, even — line of clothes and accessories for this coming fall. Fashionista has a first look at some of the pieces in the collection, which include chunky knitwear, furry boots, and baseball caps with fuzzy pom-poms on the sides that look like teddy-bear ears. There are also some of Lacroix’s annotated design sketches, in case you were wondering where such ideas came from. The line will be in Desigual stores across Europe next week, but U.S.-based customers may still be able to purchase merch online. WHEW. [Fashionista]
