
Brooklyn-based street gang the Lo-Lifes (named after the second syllable of Polo) have worn Ralph Lauren clothes as a rule since the eighties. They’re picky about it, though, says photographer Brayden Olson, who’s documenting their preoccupation with fashion: “The newer Ralph Lauren clothes are mainly just the ‘horsey’ logos and most of these guys really despise that stuff,” he said. “Anyone can get it in almost any store.
