Perhaps you’ve heard that the model in a new Old Navy commercial looks like Kim Kardashian. Kim Kardashian, who can never find enough ways to keep her name in the news (or “news”), is suing Old Navy for knowingly capitalizing on her image without giving her a cut of the profits. Old Navy has tweeted of the campaign: “Breaking News!! @CBSNEWS reports that Old Navy’s Super CUTE star looks like @kimkardashian. #LOL. What do you think?” Kardashian thinks the ad has cost her $20 million — $20 million she needs because she doesn’t have enough money. But really, while this model may look like Kim in the face, she doesn’t act like Kim. From what we know about her E! shows, mostly through a friend who is a self-professed ironic fan and semi-expert, she spends every episode sitting around. See Kim sit in a chair, see Kim sit on the side of a pool, see Kim sit on her bed, see Kim sit on a stair, see Kim sit on a couch. This model is standing and dancing and moving around in all types of ways. So maybe she’s not as similar to Kim as Kim thinks.
