Danish rising star Victor Nylander follows fellow Dane Mathias Lauridsen as the premier male model of the new decade. The 19-year-old got his start early this year opening the fall 2011 Versace show in Milan, and also walking for Prada. Famous lensman Mario Testino then shot Nylander for the spring Versace campaign, alongside Abbey Lee Kershaw. Karl Lagerfeld and Kris Van Assche also booked Nylander as the sole face of Dior Homme’s spring campaign. Nylander’s spring editorials are nothing to balk at either — one is on the current cover of Numéro Homme, shot by Pierre Debusschere. We caught up with him to talk about his love for soccer and his mom’s homemade cooking.
