
In an interview for British Elle’s “Collections” edition, Nicola Formichetti stated, “I think old people should just be old and go away,” adding, “It’s not about being in the industry for ten years anymore: it’s about good ideas.” To give him the benefit of the doubt, his comment seems to refer to older, established people in the fashion industry, not the elderly in general (we don’t want to misconstrue things, after all).
