The Sexual Discrimination Suit Against Marc Jacobs Drags On

Patrice Lataillade sued Marc Jacobs International in March, alleging that he was fired for complaining that company president Robert Duffy coerced employees into pole dancing (who in New York even has room for that?) and looking at porn at the office. In a counterclaim, MJI said he was let go for mismanaging company finances. Lataillade’s lawyers have just responded to those allegations in court, calling them “baseless” and demanding the company respond to the sexual-discrimination claims, which they haven’t yet addressed.
