Time Out Hong Kong interviewed Tom Ford as he opened a new store in the city. Though it proved to be a delightfully awkward affair, with reportedly a lot of reticence on Tom’s part (not to mention his refusal to tell jokes), he certainly didn’t hold back when discussing potential fit issues with his clothes: “Americans are too fat. And in London they are starting to get fat too. So I have to say that if we have to talk about race system and nationalism, I find it refreshing that everyone [who is] Chinese is slim.” [Time Out HK]
