In what’s billed as Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot’s first-ever personal-fashion film project, the photo duo filmed models including Kristen McMenamy, Lara Stone, and Chinese newcomer Xiao Wen Ju, for Love magazine’s latest issue. Titled “What Lies Beneath,” the short has a surreal, David Lynch–like vibe with a sadomasochist twist. Meanwhile, New York’s fall fashion issue cover boy Andrej Pejic is filmed shirtless, swaying to and fro, in a tribute to the Japan earthquake. And on a funnier note, see Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz boogie down to Pitbull alongside some models.
