Isaac Mizrahi isn’t the only name missing from the schedule this season. The Max Azria collection, which is the higher-end line produced by Max Azria the man, won’t show in this upcoming New York Fashion Week (in seasons past, it occupied the 3 p.m. time slot on Sundays). Although one might assume it’s gotten the ax due to the company’s financial difficulties, but Azria’s publicist assured us that they’re just “evaluating” their design direction and have incorporated many of the looks into their BCBG Max Azria collection, which will show at its usual time.* Herve Leger, which is also owned by BCBG Max Azria group, is still set to walk on schedule.
