Yesterday’s runways were dominated by three faces: Zuzanna Bjioch at Next Models, Karmen Pedaru at Ford Models, and Aymeline Valade at Women Direct. 17-year-old Bijoch opened for Derek Lam and closed for Diane Von Furstenberg, while 21-year-old Karmen Pedaru had the final looks at Lam and Victoria Beckham. Meanwhile, 26-year-old Aymeline Valade opened for DVF and closed for Edun. These runway appearances alone would cause a three-way tie, and so we factored their September editorial bookings into the mix. All things considered, French face Valade became the clear winner, with spreads in the current issues of Harper’s Bazaar, Italian Vogue, Dazed & Confused, Interview, W magazine, Numero, and V magazine.
