scene stealers

Perhaps it’s because it was the last day of New York Fashion Week, but yesterday brought out a more somber, polished side of showgoer’s closets. There were sleekly tailored suits in solids (including crisp white — clearly someone is not adhering to that tired Labor Day adage), and fun little black dresses that could pass muster at a cocktail party. Overall, there were less of the frenetic prints and splashy colors that have dominated thus far. That said, now it’s off to London Fashion Week, where the eccentricity is sure to return.
