Sporty mesh tops are popping up all over the spring collections, but, thankfully, they’ve evolved from the gym-class days of yore, looking more grown-up than locker-room stinky. At Faster by Mark Fast, the sexy knitwear designer left little to the imagination, dressing a model in a see-through top and a body-conscious skirt. Over at Derek Lam, the look was both ladylike and work-appropriate, with a sweater layered over a printed blouse and paired with a pencil skirt. And the boys at rag & bone kept true to their urban surfer-girl inspiration with a look that was equal parts bikini cover-up and cool model-off-duty.
