In American designer Heather Huey’s three-year career as a couture milliner, her carefully constructed pieces have been featured in top publications like Italian Vogue, Interview, French Numéro, and V magazine. Originally an architecture graduate from Fordham, Huey is best known for her face and body cages, which require painstaking feats of engineering. Most recently, Thakoon commissioned Huey to make custom cowboy hats for his spring 2012 show. See a collection of her best work in our slideshow.
