First Look: See Rose Hartman’s Photos of Bianca Jagger, Jerry Hall, Bethann Hardison, and More From F.I.T.’s Retrospective Exhibit

Photographer Rose Hartman has done editorials for some of today’s top fashion magazines, including Harper’s Bazaar, Allure, Vogue, W, and Vanity Fair, but she’s perhaps best known for her images of celebrities hobnobbing with one another at glamorous parties. In the late seventies, she captured the likes of Jerry Hall, Bethann Hardison, and Nan Kempner out at Studio 54 (there’s even one of Bianca Jagger riding a white horse into the club for her birthday party in 1977). Later, she shot Diana Vreeland, Isabella Blow, Anna Wintour, Iris Apfel, and other style icons at fashion shows, art galleries, and other society events. From November 4 to January 20, selections of her work from 1977 to the present will be shown at F.I.T.’s Gladys Marcus Library.
