Kate and Laura Mulleavy curated this year’s issue of A magazine — under their leadership, it’ll feature editorials by photographers including Jay DeFeo and Bill Owens, artwork by John Baldessari, and something exciting from Buffy creator Joss Whedon. The magazine comes out next month, but its cover shot debuted today. It pictures a somewhat sad-looking bear, sitting deep in thought beside a river. How nice.
