As part of refurbishment efforts at Kensington Palace in London, space will be made for a small exhibition of Princess Diana’s clothing. Five dresses from Diana’s wardrobe will go on display, starting next March, three of which have not been previously exhibited in the country. They include one Versace look, another by David Emanuel (the designer of Diana’s wedding dress), and two by recently deceased designer Catherine Walker — one of Diana’s favorites. After the runaway success of the recent palace exhibit showcasing Kate Middleton’s wedding dress to the public, there’s surely hope the strong, fond memories of Diana will also draw visitors en masse. The palace may also be looking to raise more money through the exhibit for Kensington Palace’s renovations, as visitors will have to buy tickets; the admission price has not been set yet.
