Is Karmen Pedaru Spring 2012’s Campaign Queen?

Campaigns aplently!
Campaigns aplently!

Karmen Pedaru’s six-year career is the result of impeccable management. The Estonian model started out with catwalk bookings for the spring 2007 Christopher Kane and Marni shows, followed by a slow but steady run of editorials in 2008, with Mario Testino for V and Craig McDean for Italian Vogue. In the subsequent years, she scored advertising contracts with Gucci and Michael Kors for 2011, all while maintaining a strong presence on catwalks and in magazines. For 2012, Pedaru soldiers on as the face for both of the aforementioned brands; she also picks up new campaign work for Chloé (alongside rising face Kate King) and Bottega Veneta (collaborating with fine art photographer Jack Pierson). While she’s just 21 years old, Pedaru’s success has been a long time coming.
