Just a day after news broke that Anna Wintour has recruited 22 fashion designers for Runway to Win, a fund-raising initiative for Obama’s reelection, Rick Santorum announced that he, too, is selling apparel for his campaign. He told CNN’s Erin Burnett that his much-ballyhooed gray sweater-vests are available for purchase on his website for a minimum donation of $100. Or, in his words: “We’re selling ‘em now! We’re selling them online! You can get them, I think, for … $100?” He added proudly, “One of my supporters said this is my Second Amendment vest: the right to bare arms.” Ironically, the vests’ delivery timetable (four to six weeks) may outlast his campaign.
