The front row at Diane Von Furstenberg is such a classy affair.  There are no Kardashians. There are no basic cable actresses. There is, instead, Fran Lebowitz clutching the arm of seatmate Graydon Carter, seated across the runway from silver fox Anderson Cooper — who, we must admit, was looking extra silver-foxy. Down the row from Anderson was Barbara Walters, who was obviously in the Guest of Honor seat, given that she had been placed between Barry “Mr. DVF” Diller and Oscar de la Renta, who looked tremendously dapper and calm, especially given that his own show is on Tuesday (he must be from the Donna Karan School of Being Super On Top Of It). Barbara looked more like she was going to cocktails on the Lido deck than a fashion show, given that she was wearing a lime green shirt paired with a bright blue shirt and topped with copious beads, a tropical look she crowned with huge dark sunglasses. Honestly, the whole thing was great — like a sartorial version of her usual soft-focus camera lens,  in that every time we looked at her, we started thinking about sitting on a warm beach with a daiquiri, and then everything would go slightly fuzzy.

Across the row from Babs sat Bravo’s Andy Cohen — does it mean anything that he and Bravo-lebrity Rachel Zoe were seated nowhere near one another? — who was gushing enthusiastically as we walked past him, “I just really love hair piled all on top of a head.” On the other side of the row, down from the aforementioned Rachel Zoe (who looked rather crabby), was Molly Sims, looking super pregnant — and very happy — in a blue caftan. You know, if only she’d piled her hair on top of her head instead of going for the ponytail, maybe we’d be looking at a Bravo reboot of House of Style.
