While transatlantic red-eye flights transport editors, models, street style stars, and more over to Europe for more fall shows, here’s a final roundup from New York Fashion Week. Perhaps fittingly given Rooney Mara’s presence, Calvin Klein showed sharp tailored pieces in black leather — certainly Girl with Dragon Tattoo appropriate. L’Wren Scott presented luxe gowns (and capes!) in silks and velvets; Ralph Lauren swapped East Coast preppy stylings for those of the British upper classes — tweedy separates and bowler hats all over. And with that, it’s on to London Fashion Week indeed.
