With The Blonds taking their post-show bow this evening, the final full day of New York Fashion Week shows came to an end. If you’re thinking this season has flown by, well, take a look at the nearly 200 shows that walked these past seven days. On tonight’s other runways, Proenza Schouler showed clean, crisp tailored lines and geometric patterns; and Marchesa did Marchesa — just beautifully, as usual. Also, in a welcome (and, as many show-goers might argue, overdue) change of sartorial pace, the Jeremy Scott show was a rainbow-ed out, Simpsons-centric riot: big wigs, facial piercings, and a large unicorn adorning one of the final gowns. All these shows, and lots more, are in our runway galleries.
