Our Favorite Street Style From Milan Fashion Week, Vol. 3

It seems the street-style troops all received a memo before the final days of Milan Fashion Week, unequivocally declaring: “Almond-shaped sunglasses!” It’s incredible how many editors, bloggers, and photographers smiled behind glasses that were just a little too tall to be cat-eyed, a little too pointed to be oval. Ankle socks with sandals also made a good showing, as did good old bare legs. Anna Dello Russo, who shows up three glorious times in these photos, told The Cut before Fashion Week: “I keep a little tan on my legs, because when I go to shows I don’t wear socks. I do body makeup.”No to socks, says Anna, but yes to hats. She wore another Jil Sander veiled beanie, and also that behemoth brimmed Balenciaga visor thing. The trendy, color-saturated looks of Milan have been fun, but wait until you see how refreshingly clean and crisp Emmanuelle Alt (in her usual uniform) looks here by comparison. Who’s ready for Paris?
