Nielsen figures show Tuesday night’s second episode of Fashion Star drew 4.7 million viewers, an increase from the 4.5 million unfortunates who sat through the premiere. (And again, two of the four garments the show’s buyers plumped for are already sold out.) Though this week there was a fun, revolving-door-themed runway presentation, the show offered few improvements on its convoluted format; WWD says to “expect a slew of copycat programs,” nonetheless, should ratings continue to rise. What a terrifying prospect.
