On Saturday, photographer Tyler Shields uploaded a series of pictures to his website showing his girlfriend, Francesca Eastwood (daughter of Clint), taking a $200 chainsaw and four dollars’ worth of gasoline to a pricy crocodile Birkin bag. “Destruction is a beautiful version of freedom,” Shields wrote. “Would you want this bag? Are you sad to see me destroy it?” Some people were not only sad, but mad — according to TMZ, by Monday, Eastwood received a bunch of “death threats” on Facebook and Twitter, like, “You’re a stupid whore. How f***ing dumb can you be,” and “You should kill urself, ungrateful bitch — wasted money when families can’t eat.” (Just when we thought Victoria Beckham mellowed out!) But, really: Is it art?
