The Shops at Target’s next collaborator is Kirna Zabête, the luxurious, Lucite–roofed Soho boutique owned by best friends Beth Buccini and Sarah Easley. Sadly, this doesn’t mean Target will supply Alaïa and Lanvin for the masses; instead, Easley and Buccini will design a women’s ready-to-wear collection of about 100 pieces, ranging in price from $9.99 to $199.99. The collection will be for sale at Target stores nationwide and online on September 9, presumably just in time for a nice, splashy launch party on the eve of spring 2013 New York Fashion Week. If you’re curious about Buccini and Easley’s taste, check out the style diaries they did for us in September 2010 — they’ve both got a knack for jazzing up comfortable basics like khaki pants, striped tees, and chambray shirtdresses without getting too ridiculous with accessories.
