T’s Ad Pages Drop; Coco Rocha Takes Over Target’s Tumblr

• W’s ad pages might be up, but T: The New York Times Style Magazine dropped ad pages in five of the year’s first seven issues. [WWD]

Coco Rocha shot a video for Target’s Tumblr called “The Making of a Cover Shot.” She’s currently one of the site’s “guest editors.” [Target Style via HuffPo]

• Eniko Mihalik wears Paco Rabanne and carries what looks like a tire she probably found in the sea (pollution, people!) for the June cover of Harper’s Bazaar Spain. [Fashion Gone Rogue]

• Yoox’s shares closed up 11.67 percent on the Milan Stock Exchange yesterday amid renewed speculation that PPR is investing in the Italian online retailer. Both companies said they are “currently holding commercial discussions … to examine the possibility of working together on an e-commerce project. Burberry won a $100 million judgement in Manhattan federal court yesterday as the result of a lawsuit against a network of Chinese Internet counterfeiters. [WWD]

• In other lawsuit news, Adidas filed one against Big 5 Sporting Goods and World Industries, claiming that its trademarked three-stripes logo is being copied. [WWD]

• Gilles Mendel of J. Mendel will design a limited-edition line of Wellington rubber boots for Hunter this fall. [WWD]

• Cole Haan is closing its store at 61st Street and Madison Avenue in February, if you’re looking to lease “a prime retail location near Barneys New York, Hermès and Michael Kors.” [WWD]

• The Istituto Marangoni, one of Europe’s most exceptional fashion schools and Domenico Dolce and Franco Moschino’s alma mater, is opening a Shanghai campus. [FT]

• Alber Elbaz on whether he plans to stay at Lanvin forever: “I want to say yes. It’s like, when you marry someone, you swear you are going to spend the rest of your life with that person. I will say yes, but you know, you never know.” [NYT]
