As previously reported, Anna Wintour is co-hosting a fund-raising dinner for Barack Obama with Michelle Obama and Sarah Jessica Parker in New York on June 14. Today, she released a video encouraging Obama supporters to enter a contest to win an all-expenses-paid trip to attend the dinner, which will (as they have in the past) be closed to most press* and anyone else who can’t donate oodles of money to the campaign. In this video, she wears a Thakoon “Runway to Win” scarf and provides instructions for entering the contest on BarackObama.com (you have to donate at least $15 to do so). At the end of her spiel, she even makes what might be a quasi-joke about her type-A intolerance for tardiness, urging her audience, “Please, don’t be late.” But really, don’t.
