The summer of 2012 has been heat wave after heat wave, with another likely-to-be sweltering month and a half left to go. Getting dressed when it feels like a sauna outside can be difficult, but the key is choosing lightweight fabrics like silk and chiffon to keep your clothes from sticking to sweaty skin. A barely there dress is the easiest solution, while loose-fitting shorts or floaty skirts offer up mix-and-match options. Keep it clean and simple with a sharp pleated skirt from Theory, or choose an office-appropriate shirtdress, like A.L.C.’s mustard-colored version. And should you get chilly at work, simply just throw on your favorite office cardigan. Click ahead to see all of our humidity-friendly options.
