It must be difficult for street-style subjects to get dressed during the Paris Haute Couture shows. On one hand, you don’t want to outshine any of the runway creations, but on the other, where else are you going to wear your gauzy cape, Lennon sunglasses, and eleven-inch heels? We sent photographer Victoria Adamson to capture how attendees and passersby struck a balance between the two. The results: all white in various silhouettes, every print imaginable, plenty of off-duty models (several still with their hair in Alexis Mabille antennae), and even some sneakers. See these ensembles, and many more, in our slideshow.
