International Street Style: Munich
In many ways, Munich lives up to the stereotype of German severity — at least when it comes to clothes. But don’t confuse the inhabitants’ penchant for geometric haircuts and dangerously studded accessories (our photographer spotted a purse that could double as a weapon) with an inability to dress playfully. We snapped locals wearing neon creepers, cutesy overalls, flirty dresses, and even some haute logo-dropping (hello, Céline). And while black may be the go-to color, for this mix of students and fashion folk it’s by no means the city-wide uniform. Click through our slideshow to see both ends of the spectrum.
