Why go through all the bother of attending Olympic events, which are fraught with crummy weather and poorly-dressed people (and might even require you to wear your ID badge on a lanyard, ew!), when you could throw a smashing Olympics-themed party instead? Such was Naomi Campbell’s reasoning, surely, when she lured cohorts like Kate Moss, Sarah Burton, Georgia May Jagger, and Vivienne Westwood to an Olympic Celebration Dinner in London on Thursday for the Fashion for Relief charity. In-keeping with Games peg, she did invite a few athletes in addition to her roster of models, designers, and socialites, most notably British cyclist Dani King, who gamely passed around her gold medal for Campbell to pose with. See all the guests, plus their party antics, in our slideshow.

But to her credit, she didn't seem to care much about, well, anything that evening.

She gets high marks for wearing flatforms with her feather-patterned dress and, instead of resembling a bird with clown shoes on, looking pretty great.

Alexandra Burke Alexandra Burke is another British singer with lovely-looking hair. While this dress should have looked good on her, something about the fabric and/or the construction was off, and the keyhole portion in the front got stretched out, creating awkward bagginess. Anyway, good effort.
