Riccardo Tisci attends the Prada 24 Hours Museum Launch by Francesco Vezzoli during Paris Fashion Week Haute-Couture Spring/Summer 2012 at Palais d’Iena on January 25, 2012 in Paris, France.
Stylist writes that the designer “was recently reduced to tears after his hero, perfumer Serge Lutens, said that Tisci was the only person who could do black since Coco Chanel. He sent Lutens flowers.” How thoughtful! And of filling the top spot at Givenchy, he told the magazine, “When you come after such genius, it’s hard. For a very long time I didn’t understand why they took me.” He’s just racking up the points for humility.
