Slideshow: Witness Kate Middleton’s Emotional Roller Coaster at the Olympics

Kate Middleton clearly loves the Olympics. She’s attended almost a dozen events in the past ten days, even when the crappy weather made her hair frizzy and Will couldn’t come with her. She gamely joined the crowd in doing the wave multiple times and spontaneously hugged Will — in public — when Great Britain did well at the cycling and track events on Friday. But spectating can also be quite stressful, and while Kate has always shown remarkable composure even in the most daunting, emotional situations (you know, like her wedding), she has actually expressed strong feelings — lots of them! — while watching Great Britain compete. Journey with us through her wide range of joy, anxiety, exhilaration, and suspense, as documented in our slideshow.
