Taking a cue from the 2003 sex strike for peace in Liberia, women in the Togolese civil rights group “Let’s Save Togo” are withholding sex from their husbands for a week in order to compel them to join in their demands for the resignation of President Faure Gnassingbé, whose recent electoral reforms will make it easier for him to win reelection in October.
