W editor Stefano Tonchi and ex-WWD editor John Fairchild are in a fight. The beef: When Tonchi took over at W back in 2010, he cut Fairchild’s long-standing column just like that. “No one called me,” Fairchild told this month’s Vanity Fair, “My feelings were hurt.”
