Just before showtime, Hanlon untied the scarves, revealing hair set into a bend around the neck (“so when they walk, there’s a strictness”). M.A.C.’s Diane Kendal followed the minimalist theme with clean skin, brushed-up brows, a strike of liner (under the eye only) and a dot of lipstick (the company’s Glamour Error) blended on cheeks for a subtle flush. “It’s that ‘no makeup’ makeup look, but for an urban girl,” she explained.
