At the last Academy Awards, Angelina Jolie thrust her leg out of a daringly slit gown, and fall’s skirts certainly favor those blessed with toned thighs. But why stop at just one peekaboo side? Come spring, double slits will draw attention to both gams. At Alexander Wang, a body-conscious dress was cut up to the tops of the thighs (quite a feat of tailoring), while over at Michael Kors, a modest navy pencil skirt was unzipped as high as possible. And lest you feel overexposed, Jen Kao’s maxi-length version seems almost modest by comparison, flashing skin only as the wearer strolls.
