First Looks: J.W. Anderson for Topshop
The first of the designer’s two collections for the chain will be in stores September 14, priced from $1.99 for a pencil to about $200 for a varsity-style jacket. According to a press release, the offerings were “based on the premise of a supermarket,” and of putting together the paisley-print skirts, J.W.-branded Sharpies, and posters, Anderson previously told The Cut, “It’s quite exciting to see different objects laid out on a table or books interacting with a jumper or a jumper interacting with a Rubik’s Cube — how things can be merchandised and visually stimulating.” Click ahead for a preview of Anderson’s creations. His second collection for Topshop launches early next year.
