International Street Style: Montreal’s All Denim
Photo: Anik Lacasse
You can’t go to Montreal without spotting the famed Canadian Tuxedo, but the city’s stylish residents are moving past that cliché into distressed jeans and skimpy white shorts, acid-wash vests, and cropped button-up shirts. Our northern neighbors are so obsessed with the Official American Fabric that we even spied one somehow-sexy, shin-length dress and another, more extreme, floor-grazing denim duster. Check it out, and don’t miss the Kermit-as–Bruce Springsteen tee. Of course, it’s worn with a pair of jeans.
