The elder McMenamy recalls her struggles getting a break in the modeling industry: “I got rejected by everyone. But I was obsessed! It was the only thing I wanted to do and I wanted it so badly. I was like a bulldog, hanging on by my teeth.” Daughter Lily had it easy in comparison, which is too bad, says mom. “Lily might not make it because she hasn’t got that drive. She’s interested in too many other things.”
