Paris Fashion Week’s Top Models: Kel Markey, Julia Nobis, Aymeline Valade, and More
Fashion finished its monthlong, jaunty parade in Paris on Wednesday. Didn’t the shows just fly by? No, not really — but we kept up all the same. We studied 62 of the City of Light’s finest runways, and with six opening or closing slots, often-underrated American model Kel Markey proved the most popular walker. A half-dozen models bagged four opening and closing looks each, including Aymeline Valade, Daria Strokous, and Julia Nobis (who booked a bunch of the European shows). Valade went first and last at both Isabel Marant and Paco Rabanne; Strokous featured at Dior, Lanvin, Elie Saab, and Giambattista Valli; and Nobis scored Saint Laurent, Dries Van Noten, and the coveted Double Whammy at Vanessa Bruno. Click through our slideshow to see these shows, and many more models — including Lais Ribeiro, Anja Rubik, and this season’s breakout girl Marine Deleeuw — who got the top spots. You can even reminisce a little about fashion month, if you’d like.
