A “knowledgeable source” told BuzzFeed that Mitt Romney’s sometimes alarming shade of bronze is a result of secret spray-tan sessions before major speeches, debates, and interviews. The source added that Romney pays for it out of pocket so that it doesn’t show up on campaign finance reports and gets sprayed in his home or hotel room to avoid being spotted. The Romney campaign fully denied the report, believed to have come from the opposition’s spray tan expert, Honey Boo Boo.
