Remember Dorothy Hamill before she had her bowl cut? Or Tina Turner before her ombré shag? How about Twiggy before her pixie? C’mon — you have no idea what their “before” pictures even looked like.
And that’s why it’s crazy talk that Halle Berry, on her Cloud Atlas press tour, told People that her beloved cropped hair doesn’t define her. She also said she’s her “best self” with this cut, by which she must just mean her only self. Or, more simply, “herself.”
