Behati Prinsloo returned to New York after Hurricane Sandy to prep for this week’s Victoria’s Secret show. The storm ruined her East Village apartment: “Half of it was — is — underwater,” she told Us Weekly. “I cried on my kitchen floor for over an hour … At least no one got hurt — my cats are safe. [But] it was overwhelming coming into my house and the water was over my piano.” Cue enlightenment: “I found that all my material things don’t matter; it’s all about love for my friends and family.” And her cats.
