The creative director of Vogue swung by Late Night on Tuesday, but it wasn’t her first time at the show — she apparently came before Christmas and sat in the audience “to see what I would be put through.” It also wasn’t her first time meeting Jimmy Fallon; as the host recalled, “When I did first meet you, I go, Oh she’s so cool, because you just get that vibe from you, like we met … ” “With a sandwich in your mouth,” Coddington said. (It was pastrami from Katz’s and, yes, it was on the set of a Vogue photo shoot.) For the rest of the segment, the two talked about her memoir, The September Issue, and the type of pen Coddington uses for her drawings.
